Who you gonna call...
Joe Snow grew up metal detecting feeding an early love for finding lost treasures. This transformed into a business at age 22 when he started buying antiques as a way of supplementing his income as a photographer. His photo archive of the local underground music scene is now part of the permanent collection at UCONN due to it’s historical significance.
Thirty years later he is still honoring history as an owner of Mecanica Estate Sales and Antiques and running countless estate sales every year. It is much more than a job to Joe, it is his passion which permeates every aspect of his life whether it’s collecting records or fixing up vintage sports cars.
